THE ROLE
The CEO of the Igloo Books Group has overall accountability for the performance and strategy of Igloo Books, Autumn Publishing plus expansion and growth plans.
Based in the idyllic Northamptonshire countryside, you’ll be working with a dedicated and passionate team of 140, publishing approximately 1,500, titles a year, in 37 languages, across 57 countries, including licensing partnerships with DreamWorks, Fisher Price and JCB.
You’ll be responsible for leading a strategic three-year plan for Igloo Books Group, increasing the value through the execution of a business strategy that will strengthen all key aspects of the company, including direct and indirect customer bases, e-commerce, market positioning, products, international expansion, external partnerships, skills development and collaboration with other Bonnier Publishing and other divisions within the group.
As CEO you will be the driving force in the formation and development of a creative, innovative and market-focused publishing programme and you’ll lead staff in key business development opportunities.
THE CANDIDATE
As Chief Executive Officer, you will have a proven track-record in the formation and development of creative and innovative mass-market products, either in publishing, media or FMCG.
As a leader, you are creative, innovative and entrepreneurial with the ability to see the “bigger picture”. You’re not afraid to think differently and challenge “the way things are done”.
You’re a smart communicator with the ability to influence and engage people at all levels. You’re also a natural mentor and take pride in developing those around you.
You’re positive, passionate and energetic with strong commercial acumen and experience in driving strategic partnerships with major international brands.
