Wonga Group announces that Joanna Baker has been appointed Group Chief Financial Officer and will join the company in April this year.

Baker joins Wonga from Worldpay, the FTSE 100 payments processing company, where she was CFO of the UK business.

Before joining Worldpay, Baker spent more than a decade at Barclaycard and Barclays Group, where she held a number of roles including CFO of Barclaycard Global Business Solutions, Head of Strategy and Planning, Barclays Corporate, and as Head of Group Corporate Development.

Baker will succeed Paul Miles who is leaving Wonga to join GVC, the sports betting and gaming group.
