THE ROLE
The CFO of the Trading Group will work to drive performance across the existing business and will play a key role in shaping the future of the organisation, supporting the Board and the wider senior management team in taking the growth strategy forward. With specific responsibility for the Group’s Finance and Procurement functions, the CFO will be responsible for driving commercial insight and profitability across the portfolio of eight trading businesses.
This is a high-profile role, both internally and externally, requiring exceptional leadership, commercial decision making and an ability to communicate at all levels. Success will be measured by the strategic and financial direction offered and the continuous support of actions that ensure the long-term profitability and diversification of the Group.
THE CANDIDATE
Suitable candidates will be able to demonstrate a track record as a commercially focused and strategic financial leader in businesses of similar scale and complexity. Previous experience working across a diverse portfolio of companies, driving performance, integrating new acquisitions and managing disposals will be essential.
